Working first as a subcontractor for the public defender for the City of Bonney Lake, Seth came face-to-face with the justice system and those most affected by it. Over 3 years, Seth worked his way up to the contract position of Bonney Lake, at one point operating an office with 3 subcontractors working under him.
Seth’s next employment opportunity was with the Grays Harbor Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. At first, Seth worked in District Court, prosecuting driving charges such as Reckless Driving and DUIs. Seth also was tasked with Department of Fish and Wildlife crimes, and the unique challenges of evidence preservation which came with such cases. Seth then moved on to working on the County’s State v. Blake backlog of drug possession cases.
After a year at the Grays Harbor Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Seth returned to the world of defense by joining the Puget Law Group team. Remembering fondly the days spent working with defense counsel from Puget Law Group while he was in Bonney Lake, Seth once again fights for the rights of defendants this time equipped with the mindset of how a prosecutor thinks and operates.
